What to Expect at Your Appointment
Quick health screening
Before your first drip, our team reviews your health history, current medications, and allergies, and checks your vital signs. This is where we confirm the drip is a safe fit for you, or suggest a better option.
IV placement by a registered nurse
A skilled registered nurse places a small IV catheter, usually in your arm or hand. Most people feel a brief pinch and nothing more.
Relax while it drips
You settle into a quiet, comfortable chair while the infusion runs at a controlled rate. Every infusion is monitored, with oversight from Stephanie Nnamchi, APRN, MSN.
Back to your day
Once the bag is finished, the IV comes out and you can return to your normal routine. Mild tenderness or a small bruise at the IV site is the most common after-effect.
Who it may be a good fit for
- After a race, tournament, or long training session
- Heavy training weeks when you are not keeping up with fluids
- Physically demanding work or travel
- Supporting a regular recovery routine
Talk with us first if you have
- Kidney disease
- Heart failure or conditions that require fluid restriction
- Chest pain, fainting, or dark urine after exercise. These need urgent medical evaluation, not a drip.
Always share your full health history and medications. We will tell you honestly if a drip is not right for you.
Timing your recovery drip
Most athletes book a recovery drip on the same day or the day after a hard effort, once they are able to rest. If you are preparing for an event, schedule your drip a day or two before, not right before you compete, so you are not rushing out of the chair. Looking for longer-term recovery support? Our peptide programs include tissue repair options that our provider can discuss with you.
Pricing & Payment
We do not bill insurance. IV therapy is an elective wellness service, paid at the time of your visit (Zelle and cash preferred; card payments carry a processing fee). If you plan to come in regularly, ask about our monthly wellness memberships on the pricing page.
