Dehydration IV Therapy combines IV fluids with electrolytes to help replenish what your body has lost and support a return to better hydration.

Potential benefits include:

  • Supports hydration and fluid replenishment
  • Helps replace essential electrolytes
  • Supports recovery after activity or time in the heat
  • Helps you feel refreshed and replenished

About Dehydration IV Therapy at Vigor Wellness Space

Dehydration IV Therapy is our simplest drip, and often the right one. It delivers IV fluids and electrolytes straight into your bloodstream, which can rehydrate you faster than drinking when you are already behind. It is a good fit after a hot Georgia afternoon outdoors, a stomach bug, a long flight, or an intense training day. It is also a good fit any time you have trouble catching up on fluids.

What is in it: IV fluids and electrolytes. Price: $155.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

STEP 1

Quick health screening

Before your first drip, our team reviews your health history, current medications, and allergies, and checks your vital signs. This is where we confirm the drip is a safe fit for you, or suggest a better option.

STEP 2

IV placement by a registered nurse

A skilled registered nurse places a small IV catheter, usually in your arm or hand. Most people feel a brief pinch and nothing more.

STEP 3

Relax while it drips

You settle into a quiet, comfortable chair while the infusion runs at a controlled rate. Every infusion is monitored, with oversight from Stephanie Nnamchi, APRN, MSN.

STEP 4

Back to your day

Once the bag is finished, the IV comes out and you can return to your normal routine. Mild tenderness or a small bruise at the IV site is the most common after-effect.

Who it may be a good fit for

  • Recovering after heat exposure, travel, or intense exercise
  • Catching up on fluids after a mild stomach bug, once you can keep fluids down
  • Feeling tired, lightheaded, or headachy from not drinking enough
  • A basic monthly hydration routine

Talk with us first if you have

  • Heart failure or any condition that requires fluid restriction
  • Kidney disease
  • Severe vomiting or diarrhea, confusion, fainting, or chest pain. These need urgent medical care, not a wellness drip, so call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Always share your full health history and medications. We will tell you honestly if a drip is not right for you.

IV hydration vs. drinking water

For everyday hydration, drinking water is the right choice. IV fluids are useful when you are already noticeably behind, or when drinking enough is difficult. For a detailed comparison, read IV Hydration vs. Drinking Water: What Is the Difference? Want nutrients along with fluids? The Myers' Cocktail or Performance & Recovery drip may be a better match.

Pricing & Payment

We do not bill insurance. IV therapy is an elective wellness service, paid at the time of your visit (Zelle and cash preferred; card payments carry a processing fee). If you plan to come in regularly, ask about our monthly wellness memberships on the pricing page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a dehydration IV in Johns Creek?

Dehydration IV Therapy at Vigor Wellness Space is $155. We also offer a Level 1 membership at $150 per month that includes one basic rehydration drip each month, a scheduled provider consultation, and priority booking.

How long does an IV hydration session take?

Most hydration drips take about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the volume of fluid and how quickly it can safely run.

How fast will I feel better?

Many people feel more refreshed during or shortly after the drip, because the fluid enters the bloodstream directly. Results vary with how dehydrated you were to begin with.

Can I get IV fluids for a hangover?

Rehydration can help you feel better after drinking, but IV fluids do not speed up how your body processes alcohol. If you have severe symptoms, seek medical care instead.
