About Myers' Cocktail IV Therapy at Vigor Wellness Space
The Myers' Cocktail is one of the longest-used IV nutrient blends in integrative medicine. It is named after Dr. John Myers, a Baltimore physician who gave vitamin and mineral infusions to patients decades ago. At Vigor Wellness Space, our version combines IV fluids with B vitamins, vitamin C, and magnesium. It is our most popular all-around drip for people who feel run down and want a simple, well-rounded reset.
What is in it: B-complex vitamins, vitamin B12, vitamin C, and magnesium in IV fluids. Price: $199.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Quick health screening
Before your first drip, our team reviews your health history, current medications, and allergies, and checks your vital signs. This is where we confirm the drip is a safe fit for you, or suggest a better option.
IV placement by a registered nurse
A skilled registered nurse places a small IV catheter, usually in your arm or hand. Most people feel a brief pinch and nothing more.
Relax while it drips
You settle into a quiet, comfortable chair while the infusion runs at a controlled rate. Every infusion is monitored, with oversight from Stephanie Nnamchi, APRN, MSN.
Back to your day
Once the bag is finished, the IV comes out and you can return to your normal routine. Mild tenderness or a small bruise at the IV site is the most common after-effect.

What the Myers' Cocktail feels like
Many people notice a warm sensation as the magnesium infuses. Some also notice a vitamin taste in the mouth from the B vitamins. Both are expected and pass quickly. If warmth or flushing feels uncomfortable, tell your nurse and the drip can be slowed. Want the full background on ingredients and cost? How long does a Myers' Cocktail take?
Most Myers' Cocktail sessions take about 45 to 60 minutes from IV placement to removal. Your nurse may run it more slowly if you are sensitive to the magnesium.

Frequency depends on your goals and health history. Some people come in once a month as part of a wellness routine; others come in occasionally when they feel depleted. Your provider will recommend a schedule that fits you.
